We are now looking for a home where our African grey parrot, who has been living with us for about two years, has more time. She has grown up in a domestic environment from day one and is very used to the human voice and the daily routine. It is not a bird that is in a cage all the time; She likes to sit on your shoulder if she is interested and observes her surroundings. She is curious and cautious in character. She is very social with people she knows and can be a bit aloof with strangers at first, which is quite normal for this species. During the day, she tries to talk and can repeat some words clearly. She is not noisy, but likes to observe. We have taken good care of her food so far; She is not given seeds, but mixed feed, fruit and supplements. Her coat is healthy and shiny. She has no health problems. The reason we want to adopt her for free is simply lack of time. We would like to give her to someone who really wants to take care of her, preferably with experience with parrots.
